Words have power. Out of our mouth, itself, can come love or hatred. It has the power to heal or leave a scar. Life is precious, so are we going to spend it spreading light or darkness?
What we speak can change a person’s entire day or even their life. I truly believe God gives us the right words in the right time. We let those words flow out and that’s when we see God move right in front of us.
This goes both ways. How we speak to others and how we speak to ourselves. We can’t truly speak life into anyone or anything when we speak nothing but hatred over ourselves. Those words sink down into our very hearts and we can start to believe them. You can’t truly love and help others if you don’t let God show you what He sees and that’s His child with a purpose and precious in His sight. If our Maker thinks of us in this way then why in the world should we not accept this truth?
Speaking life is powerful in every aspect of our lives. We must speak it in the good times but, especially, the hard times.
Kind words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.

Negative words will only make the situation worse. Love is the answer. We must love, especially when we’re in the middle of a storm. Love is what will give us hope in the darkness. It moves mountains. In the end, love truly wins.
