One door closes and the other one…does not open…what do I do?
I feel stuck. I feel hopeless. I feel forgotten.
What do I do?
I could sit here and keep hearing the lies or I can look around and see who and what is around me. Who and what God has for me in the season of “in between”.
What is most important is what God is doing inside of me. The strength and connection with Him that is growing. This is what happens when we wait on Him.
The lessons learned in the hallway is the wisdom we’ll need when they other door opens. I believe we learn the most in that hallway.
That hallway can get quiet and even lonely but I can hear Him more clearly. I’m depending more on Him in the waiting and I’m leaning more into His voice. The voice that keeps me going.
One day that door opens and we realize “this is what You were preparing me for”. We may be surprised and will know His timing is perfect.
