Life isn’t always what we expect. We could be doing our absolute best and then things go south. It’s not what you predicted or wanted. Good thing there’s a God who knows and holds our tomorrow’s.
God is the God of yesterday, today, and the future. Remember those mountain tops? Think about Who got you up there. The unpredictable valley’s can get dark real fast. That’s when the loneliness sets in and the lies pour in.
Frantically, you’re looking every which way…but are you looking up? The question to ask God is why He has you there and how He wants to work through you and in you. Nothing is in vain.
The lie that you’re alone is just that, a lie. Jesus is sitting with you and carrying you. This is the time to let go and be held. Through your pain and brokenness, you experience His faithfulness first hand. In the darkness, you feel the love of Jesus on a whole different level cause it’s all you’re holding onto.
You don’t stand in that fire alone. The King of Kings stands right next to you. It’s that very fire that is refining you and you come out with a testimony on the other side.
“Yes, you will suffer for a short time. But after that, God will make everything right. He will make you strong. He will support you and keep you from falling. He is the God who gives all grace. He chose you to share in his glory in Christ. That glory will continue forever.”
