But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk; and not faint.

Waiting on the Lord…what does that mean exactly? It’s about trust and relationship.This process doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a daily decision to not carry life’s burdens on your own and let Jesus walk with you. Leave it at His feet and keep moving forward cause you’re not alone.
If you’re a human being, this is not easy. That’s why we need our daily bread…spiritual bread that is. Time just resting your spirit in the arms of Jesus. Sitting and not having to hide.
With Jesus, there’s no putting on a show. You don’t have to fake a smile and act like everything is ok. He sees your brokenness and pain. He sees you trying and is so proud. The real you is exactly what He and only He can truly see.
You are not what you did or what has happened to you. A child of God is who you truly are. The strong heart and spirit striving and hoping every day, the love you give to others, the joy that lights up your face, the passions that burn inside and you use to bring good into the world. These are the things that make you who you are.
Jesus reveals these truths to you and it starts to sink in the more time we spend with Him. The joy of the Lord gives us strength and peace that nothing in this world could ever compare to. With Him, anything is possible.
