I will say that I saw my strength come to the surface the most when I was in my darkest seasons. These are the times that have shaped me into the woman I am today.
They say you’re the strongest when being strong is your only option. The survivor within comes to life. When you feel like giving up, there’s a voice telling you to hold on.
The darkest, over time, seems to strengthen the light within because it’s the only thing keeping you together. The more you hold onto that light, which is the Light of the world, the brighter is becomes. You thought the darkness was swallowing you but the light was winning on your behalf this whole time.
We wonder why certain seasons last longer than we expect them to buy that is the process of refinement. The process that is making your heart and soul that much more stronger and beautiful.
The amazing outcome is seen by others battling an internal battle and they are inspired to keep going.
You look back and may not want that season back but you’ll be happy it happened. You have a story to tell and other hearts to encourage.
Then ask yourself…”Would I be the same person if I had not gone through that?
