You can’t help but have those moments in life that things do not seem fair or you feel stuck. We get so focused on what we have not accomplished, instead of being proud of overcoming those mountains that seemed to never move.
I have to take a second and remind myself to slow down. Breathe. Remember how very blessed I am. How far I have come. Celebrate myself and my loved ones.
Life may not always be what we expect it to be. But isn’t that kind of beautiful? How boring would it be to know every detail in life? No mystery. No opportunities to grow and learn. No real meaningful experiences that make you stop and take in the world around you.
Don’t ignore your pain or problems. Acknowledge them and face them. During that process, we see the true meaning of love. It can come from all directions. Love is still there in different forms.
