When I think of leaving a legacy, my mind can automatically think of a type of stressful job. Like how far you make it in a career, whatever it may be. It can definitely be the type of job a person has and something passed down from generation to generation. But what type of legacy truly matters the most?
Love. Love that comes in different forms. The type of actions that shows and teaches others how to make an impact in this world. How we treat ourselves and others. That’s the greatest legacy of all.
It’s in the little things we do. A smile, hug, kind words can change someone’s day or even their life. Saying kind words and helping yourself is a form of love. That love can overflow to those around you. That is the true purpose in life.
My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. ~John 15:12
